Target audience

For my final project, I will have created a horror film trailer and a magazine, promoting my horror film. My trailer is for 18 years and over, giving a restriction to a younger audience. In terms of the gender that my film aims at, I decided to target both male and female. The ways in which both genders are aimed towards my horror film is through desires of men and stereotypical conventions of women..

Both the male and female audience are aimed through the 'Femme Fatale' character, a women who uses her sexuality to lure the desires of man, this is through her revealing clothing, which is an attempt to show the audience the character is sexy and desirable. This idea will attract the male audience, the female audience are similarly attracted, however, from a different prospective, as the character is wearing expensive clothing and looks effortlessly attractive, this could inspire them through her beauty or alternatively they could relate to the character through her costume and makeup.
