Photo shoot of actors.

For my final project, I needed to organise a photo shoot of my actors, which shows what clothes they are wearing and why. This idea helped me to follow the conventions of horror characters- both the protagonist and  antagonist.

Victims outfits-

• Casual clothes- shows that the characters were not expecting to be in their current situation, which relates to my plot of the film.

Villains outfits-

• Dark clothes- the idea of the antagonists wearing black clothes is so they can easily be hidden in the dark atmosphere of the trailer. It is also a convention of a horror film, for the antagonist to wear dark clothes, as the colour connotes death, pain and drama. (Male characters)
• Short skirt, low cut top and high boots- This outfit is to express femininity and female dominance. The short skirt is to express her sexuality and power over men's desires, which you learn in the trailer is how the characters get involved in the horror. The outfit is also to express the convention of the 'Femme Fatal' character- a women who uses her sexuality to lure her victims in to her crimes.
