For my final project, I needed to complete certain tasks that will enable me to produce a successful or professional horror film trailer. An example of these tasks is a location recce- this is where I gather images of the location of where my filming for the trailer will take place. In context, my trailer takes place in an abandoned section of a school and a front garden- where a car is in clear sight, this car is used in my trailer.
The environment was very safe, the building was secure and had only been abandoned for 10 months. I used the environment to get different shots by using the objects that had ben left behind and scattered them all over the hall way to express possibly damage being made at a previous time- which relates to my horror film. The idea of the halls and rooms being a mess also indicates the environment is abandoned as there is nobody around to clear it up. Certain rooms were perfect for filming due to the idea that there was no window- so no natural light was coming through, which indicates darkness.
