As for my final project I will be creating a horror film trailer, I have designed and created a detailed storyboard, which outlines the key shots of my trailer and an explanation of camera movements, shots etc.
The story board is designed on paper, and so the drawings are just a basic sketch of what the shot is aimed to look like for filming. The storyboard also states the sound in the scene: whether the scene underlines diegetic or non-diegetic sound and the music I will be wanting in my trailer- baring in mind the trailer has to connote the genre.
The first three shots include the basic, conventional opening of a horror film trailer: the name of the production company, the name of the film and sometimes a connection to other films e.g. "From the makers of..."
The continuing shots of these, consist of the features of my film, which I believe my audience should or would want to see, which will both fear and entertain them into watching my film.
