For my final project, I will be having to research into horror films, more specifically the sub-genre of a certain horror, my chosen is a slasher horror. I researched into the history of horror films, finding new theorists and learning where the bases of horror comes from.
Watching the available YouTube clip and researching through Wikipedia, has allowed me to understand where the conventions of a horror film as originated from, concluding me to create a successful horror product. I will include more modern elements in my trailer, even though my film will be independent due to lack of CGI and special effects, I am still capable of editing images and videos through software e.g. Photoshop.
